In 2014, ‘Real Housewives of New York’ alum Bethenny Frankel purchased a condo in New York’s SoHo for $4.25 million. In 2017, she listed the property for $4.995 million; no soap. November of last year saw the unit return, priced at $3.995 million. The reduction did the trick, and this month Frankel accepted an offer of $3.65 million for the place: a loss, but a resolution.
The unit is located in a building that dates to 1860. There are sixteen units in its five stories.
The condo measures slightly less than 2,400 square feet, and features a loft layout with an extended hallway. The shared living area features glossy, richly contrasted walnut floors, and a step-down living room with a fireplace and 14’ ceilings. The upper tier is occupied by the kitchen, which has been designed in a bright and playful style, and features floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, and an island with a marble cap.
There are two bedrooms and three baths in the unit. The master features a walk-in closet that transitions neatly to a marble-clad bath with a dual vanity, a soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed rain/steam shower. A glass-walled atrium stands between the two bedrooms.
Frankel launched Skinnygirl Fresh Market Deli in 2017. The Skinnygirl division specializes in zero-preservative cold cuts.
