In the early fall of last year, we got a look at Audi’s A5 and S5 models for 2020. The revised models featured narrower headlights, a honeycomb grille, and a leaner, tighter overall shape. They also received a tech update including a redesigned MMI system designed around a 10.1” touchscreen, and improved AI-driven communication. But Audi wasn’t ready to discuss pricing for U.S. buyers at the time.
Audi recently released full pricing information for the A5 and S5. Body options for the two models include a Sportback, a Coupe, and a Cabriolet. The base sticker of the A5 range is $44K, while the S5 is $53K. The ragtop will add ~$8K to the base price of both A5 and S5 models. Trim levels break down as ‘Premium’, ‘Premium Plus’ and ‘Prestige’; the S5 Cabriolet with Prestige trim tallies at just under $70K.
For both models, engines are standard throughout the lineup. The A5 is outfitted with a 2L, 4-cylinder turbo that can deliver up to 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. S5 variants come with a 3L V6 that makes 349 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Audi says U.S. deliveries of the A5 and S5 lineups will begin in late winter or early spring.
