With one of his two adjacent properties in Malibu recently sold, Olympiad skiboarder Shaun White would naturally prefer to sell the other as quickly as possible. And so the home that started its most recent stint on the open market last spring at $12.5 million is now back with an ask of $10.995 million.

According to public records, Mr. White picked up the home for $10.75 million in the final days of 2016. Three years earlier, he’d purchased the property next door for about nine million dollars; it sold last month for a little less than $12 million.

The traditional-style home was built in the late 1940s, and contains three bedrooms and two baths. It sports fine cottage details, including paned clerestories, hardwood plank floors, and tongue-in-groove ceilings. The kitchen’s a beaut, with a period-style stove, dark subway tile, cabinets with frosted glass panels, a pantry, and a charming window seat.

The rear of the home features a lengthy attached pergola, a BBQ station, and a pool and sunlounge that surveys a large expanse of lawn; the one-acre lot falls away gracefully toward the ocean.
