Academy Award-winning actor Brie Larson quietly let go of this unassuming time capsule of a home in Los Angeles this month for $1.4 million, according to Variety. She’d owned the home since 2009, per public records, and paid $885K for it in the summer of that year.

The sale follows Larson’s recent purchase of two Los Angeles-area homes. The actor purchased both residences—one in Malibu, the other in Woodland Hills—for a total of five million dollars.

Images of the outgoing property are scant, but the available images show that it’s a single-floor structure with a covered porch and bay window. Its interior living spaces measure slightly less than 2,000 square feet, and appears to be in dire need of an update, if the kitchen is any indication. Public records indicate that it was constructed in 1934, and that it sits on a lot of about two-tenths of an acre.

The home was apparently listed at $1.299 million prior to the sale, a pleasant little surprise for Ms. Larson. An extra $100K here and there is always welcome.
