The angled façade of this Greenwich Village townhouse, and its similarly expressive garden side, make it a unique presence in its neighborhood. WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey has owned it since 2015, according to public records, when he paid $12 million for it. This month, he listed it on the open market with an asking price of $21 million.

The 21’-wide property contains 6,000 square feet of interior living space across its four above-ground stories. The layout is unique; the building dates to 1845, but a complete revision in the 1970s gave it an offset floor design that increased the living area while brightening the home considerably.

There are four bedrooms and five baths in the home, including a guest or maid’s quarters on the basement level. The master receives the entire fourth floor, with a large dressing room occupying a significant portion of the level. An atrium staircase illuminated by a roof light services the floors.

McKelvey co-launched WeWork in nearby SoHo in 2010. Although his partner in founding and developing the company, Adam Neumann, is no longer with the company, McKelvey has retained his position.
