Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins Asking $17M for Recent Build in Pebble Beach

Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins bought this crescent-shaped six-bedroom contemporary home in October of 2017; according to public records, he shelled out $12.5 million for it. A little more than three years later finds the home back on the open market, with Mr. Robbins asking $17 million for it. A solid ROI, if a suitable offer is submitted.

The 2017-built home’s architecture and property philosophy owes much to Eastern design influences, and a Zen garden at the rear of the property is a conspicuously circumspect substitute for the swimming pool one would expect to see. There’s a hot tub, though, as well as a series of impressive desert flora plantings to help round out the living style, and fill out the substantial, 1.7-acre lot.

The 10,000 square foot home’s interiors are warm and uncluttered, with stone tile and hardwood floors, abundant glass, and a refined sensibility. Ornament is at a minimum, making quieter details—like the bronze staircase and balustrade handrail, the kitchen’s single pendant fixture, and the occasional emergence of pattern—stand out in relief, and allowing the setting its due as an arresting visual centerpiece.
