Bulgarian tuning shop Vilner doesn’t appear to play favorites. Brands represented in their back pages include Land Rover, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Rolls, Maserati, Jeep, Shelby and BMW, and at least one of their builds has sported two wheels, not four.
They’ve taken on the odd EV, too—a take on Rimac’s Concept One comes to mind—as well as an occasional Tesla, which is where late 2019 finds the Sofia-based motor aficionados. Their recent builds include an enhanced Model 3 that boasts an interior that slaps a playfully hip groove on the car’s otherwise absent sense of style.
Instead of inflicting a bunch of silly blinged-out drama to the car—as is the wont of some tuning shops—Vilner expanded on the soul of the everyman’s EV, fleshing out the sensibilities that most appeal to the buyer who is young, and/or young at heart. Houndstooth upholstery is accented with eco-leather, and an upbeat color scheme enhances the feel of the ride as less pure utility and more expressively individual.
