Audi unveiled the 2020 model year refresh for the RS 5 duo—coupe and Sportback—this month. The model variants keep powertrain fundamentals at status quo, but sport a series of visual alterations and tech updates that keeps them relevant on all counts.
The two Sport-series models receive the style commonalities that have slowly linked many of the upper-end Audi cars of late. The Singleframe grille has been broadened somewhat, and the pair can be optioned with LED matrix and laser headlamps.
Cabin tech now features a 10.1” touchscreen for the MMI infotainment system, although a 12.3” screen may be optioned. A leather and Alcantara mix is the standard fare for upholstery, but Nappa leather is an option. Paint colors now include Turbo Blue and Tango Red, and 20″ wheel options include gloss black and matte bronze finishes.
The 2020 RS 5 Coupe and Sportback will appear in Europe by midyear, and debut in the U.S. some time thereafter.
