Nutrition-bar tycoons Tom and Lisa Bilyeu spent heavily in Hollywood Hills this season when they closed on a $35.5 million residential property above the Strip. The recent modern-style house is one of the largest residences in the area, and had been priced at a little less than $44 million prior to the sale. It spent less than four months on the open market.

The 20,000 square foot home was designed by Saota. It replaced a 1964-built house of less than 2,500 square feet, absorbing nearly all of the lot in its expanded footprint in the process.

Views from the property are panoramic, and the home’s design is intended to make the most of them, with glass walls offering city vistas from most rooms in the house, and from nearly every position in the shared living spaces. Of the 20,000 square feet, only 5 bedrooms may be counted; so, big master, and abundant space for entertaining.

The crowning amenity of the trophy home is the ~170’ pool, which wraps around the perimeter and is almost constantly accessible and visually present as a luxurious polestar. A waterfall feature, multiple lounges, and an atrium garden enhance the effect. A curated wine cellar, glass elevator, and master suite with retractable glass and a fire feature are among the home’s other impressive details.

The Bilyeus collectively founded Quest Nutrition in 2010. The company recently sold for a billion dollars.
