Retired longtime MLB player David Cone re-listed a Manhattan residential investment property this autumn. The perfect-game pitcher has been trying to sell the 2,818 square foot condo since 2017—less than a year after he picked it up for $7.97 million, according to public records. Initially listed at $10 million, it jumped to $10.5 million within its first week on the market. It is now asking $8.6 million.
The unit is located in one of the 10 buildings in the Greenwich Lane complex, which was completed in 2013. It features 4 bedrooms and 5 baths in its layout, and interiors defined by maple floors, modern ceilings, and steel-framed black windows.
The open concept living space features glass doors that open onto a private balcony, and a kitchen with a stainless island, white cabinetry, marble countertops, and figured tile counter backsplashes. The master suite features a bath with mini-tile floor, a marble-capped double vanity, and marble tile; the bedroom transitions to a creative workspace overlooking the Village below.
During his stint with the Yankees, Cone pitched the 16th perfect game in baseball; the opposing team was the Montreal Expos.
