Wasserman Media Group founder Casey Wasserman relisted his unusually striking Beverly Hills trophy home this autumn—he is now asking $82.5 million for the hardwood-clad paean to modern architecture.

Mr. Wasserman has had the property up for sale since the beginning of the year. Initially, the house was priced at $125 million, a sanguine ask reflecting the 2016-built home’s singularity and the reputation of the firm that designed it, Richard Meier & Partners. We’ll see how it fares at $83 million.

The house is unusually fine, a complete departure from ‘Big Box Deluxe’ sensibilities and the tasteless spec-built monstrosities that occasionally pop up in this residential property genus. The exterior is clad in hardwood—white oak?—and features a rusticated stone accent wall.

The interiors culminate in a massive great room with pushbutton-retractable steel-framed glass walls. It contains 6 bedrooms and 15 baths in its 18,543 square feet of living space, as well as an 1,150 square-foot fitness center, a home cinema, and staff quarters.

The grounds extend to well over 3 acres, with a 85’ zero-edge pool, a pool house, and abundant patio and terrace space for outside entertaining.

The property is comprised of 3 original parcels, two of which were owned by Casey Wasserman’s grandparents, Lew and Edie Wasserman. Interestingly, Lew and Edie Wasserman funded a medical building on the UCLA campus, which was also designed by Richard Meier’s firm.
