Former Chicago Blackhawks team member Marian Hossa re-listed his downtown Chicago high-rise unit on the open market this month with a revised asking price: $3.15 million.

According to public records, Hossa has owned the Gold Coast property for about a decade—the unit last sold in May of 2010, for $2.85 million. Hossa first listed the 14th floor flat in the spring of 2018, asking $4.5 million; the unit saw its first price reduction about a month later, when the ask dropped to $4.15 million.

The luxury condo’s interiors are modern, warm, and understated. The wide-open common area demarcates using gently curving arches, with a more prominent ceiling curve above the custom Poggenpohl kitchen with SubZero and Miele appliances. It features recently refinished hardwood floors, 10’ ceilings, and a fireplace in a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone accent wall.

The 3 bedrooms and 4 baths culminate in a corner master that boasts a window alcove sitting area and a large bathroom with a steam shower, soaking tub and heated floors. A walk-in closet finished in hardwood.

Hossa went pro in 1997, when he spent the first of seven seasons in Ottawa. He was traded from Chicago to Arizona in the summer of 2019, where he remains under contract, although health issues prevent him from playing.
