‘Rockstar’ czar Russell Weiner may not have had any luck selling his house on the Strand in Hermosa Beach for $21 million, so he’s trying his luck by listing yet another trophy home on the open market.
The property in question represents a very quick flip indeed; the billionaire apparently purchased the place only weeks ago. The ask may be just a wee bit sanguine this time around, as Weiner is looking for $28 million against a $16.5 million purchase price registered at the tail end of August.
Although the house is a Bird Streets architectural gem, and may see a sale price that’s at least in the neighborhood of the ask. A contemporary-modern design built in 2015, the home is open and warm. The floating hardwood front door is the first in a series of surprises that unfold on a tour of the house. Shared living spaces include a magnificent open concept living space; a kitchen with a lengthy marble-capped waterfall island, a dining room, a dayroom, and a living room, all with folding glass opening onto the property exterior.
There are six bedrooms and 10 baths in the home’s 12,530 square feet. The master measures in at about 2,000 square feet, and features a fireplace, a private balcony, and a bath with a double shower and his-and-hers vanities.
Amenities include a massage/spa room, a screening room, an entertainment room with wet bar, and transition rooms between interior and exterior living areas. The panoramic L.A. views are offered from most rooms in the house, and from the patio and zero-edge pool.
Weiner is the creator of Rockstar energy drink. His net worth is $4 billion.
