Prompted by his move from the Golden State Warriors to the Los Angeles Clippers, NBA fixture Jerry West listed his Bay Area residence this week for $1.68 million.

The traditional contemporary dates to 2015, and features exterior architecture that cites craftsman and Cape Cod design cues. Stacked stone and stucco offer textural complexity and warmth to augment the warm familiarity of the home.

The slightly less than 3,550 square feet of interior living spaces are thoroughly now; the shared living areas are single-story, allowing for 22’ ceilings; clerestories, tray embellishments, and an open concept design enhance the sense of scale in the common areas.

The four bedrooms and 4.5 baths include a pair of suites. The master receives a bath with a closed-off soaking tub, but there is also a ‘junior’ suite.

The home’s exterior living space is well designed. There is a transitional indoor/outdoor living area; it features a fireplace, and leads to the patio, and the eco-friendly artificial turf of the lawn.

West started his NBA career playing for the Lakers in 1960. He was an Executive Board member for the Warriors, and joins the Clippers in the same capacity.
