This new Mil-Spec H1 design is the seventh H1 model to cruise out of the shop since 2015, and it’s part of Mil-Spec’s special “Launch Edition” line. It may be the most aggressively militant yet, a survivalist vehicle that looks a bit too fringe for the suburban usage context.
As always, the military-inspired automotive tuner was most interested in enhancing durability and security. This four-door hardtop H1 is truly equipped for battle (or rugged outdoor adventures); ultra-sturdy axle shafts, portal hubs sourced from an actual military Humvee, an advanced suspension system, and six-piston brakes are among its features.
Mil-Spec also carefully applied a striking coat of kevlar-infused Deep Sky Black paint to add to the vehicle’s aggressive exterior look, and its ability to withstand less forgiving environs. Inside, cushy comfort contrasts with the blood-and-guts exterior: Nappa leather-covered seats with quilted stitching and custom lumbar supports add a touch of luxury.
Last, but certainly not least, are the vehicles workhorse capabilities: the H1 boasts a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8 engine that pumps out 500 horsepower and 1,000 pound-feet of torque.
