Los Angeles Angels player Justin Upton is looking to homer the listing of his big-footprint Paradise Valley desert contemporary for $11 million.

The MLB outfielder’s custom-designed estate is located about 13 miles outside of Phoenix. It was constructed as his dream home; unfortunately, it was also custom-designed and constructed during his tenure with the Arizona Diamondbacks. And, not long after its completion, the player ended up transitioning to Atlanta, to play for the Braves.

The 14,400-square-foot home features a desert-contemporary exterior that is suffused with industrial design cues. Walls of windows allow for abundant natural light within, and a blurring of property interior and exterior living spaces.

The natural light is welcome, as the home is quite moody, working with a palette of grays and darker browns. The open-concept main living space features two sets of massive retractable glass sliders that open the home broadly to outdoor living area. The gourmet kitchen features a bevy of up-to-date design elements: waterfall-edge eat-in center island, commercial-grade fixtures, and pendants.

Elsewhere, the five-bedroom, seven-bath home is equipped with a decked-out media room, which presently holds a representative slice of Upton’s expansive sports memorabilia collection. A game room with a wet bar, movie theater, and indoor basketball court cover high-end amenities.

The property exterior features expansive patio spaces, a built-in barbecue, a three-hole putting green, and a swimming pool with spa.
