Angels superstar Mike Trout just picked up a recently revised Newport Beach mansion for $9.15 million.

Considering the eight-time MLB All-Star just signed the largest sports contract in history—$426 million—with the L.A. Angels, the price tag was likely a non-issue. The luxurious residence is located just a 30-minute drive from the Anaheim stadium.

Located on a hillside in the ultra-luxurious Harbo Ridge gated community, the grand estate spans 9,000 square feet and has six bedrooms. The three-story residence welcomes visitors via a grand foyer accented with a curving staircase and double-height ceilings, and an elevator services all three floors.

The home was built in 1982, but recently underwent comprehensive updating. It now boasts plenty of high-end finishes that are thoroughly contemporary. The spacious open-concept main living area features exposed trussing, and plenty of natural light. The living room stands out with several sets of French doors leading to a sprawling balcony and deck perfect for taking in the breathtaking ocean views.

Back inside, the kitchen is worthy of note with its white cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and center island. Even though the residence boasts a number of other gathering spaces—a rec room with a wet bar, a second family room, and a formal dining room—the home’s greatest assets are the incredible views and the backyard.

The property exterior features a covered lanai, a built-in BBQ, a series of stone terraces, and a spacious swimming pool with a spa.
