Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin recently signed a three-year contract with Detroit, but has been investing in the Southern California market as of late. The NBA star spent $4 million on a Manhattan Beach property earlier this year.
Now, it appears the player also picked up this new construction in Studio City. The charming 2,700-square-foot modern farmhouse-style residence impresses with open concept living spaces, four bedrooms, and 4.5 baths. According to public records, the property set the high-dunking Griffin back $2.3 million.
The home’s contemporary layout makes the most of the space available, with a great-room style main living space that opens via retractable glass panels to the lush backyard giving it an expansive feel and a generous living style. The centerpiece of the place is certainly the gourmet kitchen, which features white cabinetry and a long center island capped with marble.
The living area maintains a light yet warm balance thanks to wide-plank wood flooring and wood-paneled ceilings. Right outside, the living space extends to the covered patio and a swimming pool with a spa.
Griffin’s new contract with the Pistons comes with paycheck amounting to $100 million. High Griffinition, indeed.
