Luxury accessory and pen brand Montblanc recently unveiled its newest special-edition collection to honor an essential person of letters. This time around, the designs are based around the work of British author Rudyard Kipling.
The exclusive new line is the most recent iteration of the Montblanc Writers Edition pens. From time to time, the high-end German brand honors renowned literary figures with the introduction of special pen designs. Previous entries hailed the work of Cervantes, Woolf, Balzac and Kafka.
Montblanc‘s newest pens draw inspiration mainly from Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” as is on display with the inclusion of a wolf’s head on one pen and a monkey on another. Customers will be able to select from a few different designs, including a gold-coated tiger pattern.
Those familiar with Kipling’s work will recognize the line from the Nobel Prize-winning author’s famous poem “If,” which is engraved on the cap and cone rings. The now-iconic line reads “If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs…You’ll be a man my son,” making it the ideal father-son gift.
Each design boasts high-end materials ranging from rhodium to solid gold.
