NFL star turned MLB player Tim Tebow recently picked up an expressive contemporary Jacksonville mansion. The property set the pigskin-to-horsehide fence-jumper $2.9 million.

The Florida residence spans 8,247 square feet; it is situated within the Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club. It dates to 2016, and holds five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The exterior is defined by a massive concept entryway and a winged design.

Within, the home is spacious and inviting, with contemporary riffs throughout. The central living space is undoubtedly the sprawling great room, which features soaring ceilings, abundant glass, and a series of French door sets offering egress to the exterior.

The living room wows with a statement-making floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and flows seamlessly to the gourmet eat-in kitchen. Clad with custom cabinetry, the kitchen stands out with a pair of marble islands, one of which is set up as a breakfast and snack bar.

Amenities include a movie theater, game room, and 120-bottle wine room. The exterior space is similarly inviting, with a spacious veranda, a fire pit, and a swimming pool with spa.

New York Mets organization outfielder Tebow won the Heisman Trophy in 2007, and was a finalist for the award in 2008 and 2009. He began his pro football career in 2010, and his baseball career in 2016.
