Actor-comedian John O’Hurley has listed his Beverly Hills home for $6.5 million.
The star best known as foppish raconteur J. Peterman on “Seinfeld” paid $3.05 million for the Coldwater Canyon home in December 2004. O’Hurley first listed the residence in 2012, and it’s been on and off the market ever since.
The five-bedroom, 7.5-bath Mediterranean-style manse was originally built in 1923, but has been heavily renovated. The exterior still boasts some period features, including a tile roof and a graduated planter wall.
The interiors span 5,391 square feet, and feature a classic, traditional-style treatment. Accents include marble, custom wrought iron, and Venetian plaster. Mediterranean details include arched doorways and rounded corners, which blend beautifully with the French doors and detailed stonework. The formal living room is a good example, with its French doors and central fireplace offering invitation and cozy appeal to the aristocratic overtones.
Outside, there’s plenty of space to relax with several decks, patios, and a saltwater swimming pool with a waterfall spa. The property includes a one-bed, one-bath guesthouse.
