TV star RuPaul has listed his colorful Los Angeles-area home for $5 million.

After eight years of ownership, the award-winning entertainer will likely miss the 1960s-era home. The location’s marvelous—the single-floor house is situated in the Sunset Strip’s popular Bird Streets neighborhood—and the views are superb.

The residence spans 2,400 square feet, with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The interiors are very expressive; the bright, modern color palette includes rich red accents and warm orange walls. Formal living and dining spaces, and an updated gourmet kitchen in shades of gray provide abundant space for entertaining.

The backyard features a fair amount of patio space, as well as a swimming pool and spa. But the exterior selling feature of the property is the panoramic survey of L.A. and the Pacific.

RuPaul’s Drag Race took home 14 Emmy nominations this year. The show set a record among VH1 shows for nominations for the prestigious award.
