Luxury brand Louis Vuitton started life in the luggage business, and to some degree its heart is still firmly packed away in the romance of travel. In keeping, their new take on a classic ventures deep into new territory.

The reinvention of the iconic Bisten suitcase comes light, glossy, tough, and lustrous: the exterior is made from titanium. Vuitton calls is the Monogram Titane collection.

The modern suitcase impresses with a sleek titanium finishing accented with a laser-engraved version of the familiar LV monogram design. Ruthenium hardware and natural cowhide leather wraps on the handle and corners add visual complexity.

Inside, the suitcase boasts a gray microfiber lining and cotton straps to secure belongings. Of course, travelers can rest assured their items are safe thanks to the suitcase’s side clasps and center locking mechanism.

The Louis Vuitton Bisten Monogram Titane Collection is available in three sizes and starts at $41,000.
