Reality television personality Ramona Singer recently sold her Manhattan apartment for $4 million.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” star originally listed the Upper East Side unit for $4.9 million in October 2018. When it failed to sell, the asking price was reduced to $4.5 million, and it looks like the buyer was able to negotiate the price down even more.
The condo likely stood out to the buyer with its turnkey condition and high-end design. The 2,468-square-foot four-bed, 3.5 bath apartment impresses with an open-concept main living space featuring walls of windows and a neutral tone scheme.
The living room exudes breathing room, with 9-foot-3-inch beamed ceilings augmenting the extensive glass; crisp crown moldings add a modicum of ornament to the home. The living room flows to the eat-in corner kitchen clad with white marble countertops and accented with stainless-steel appliances, both of which strike the eye forcefully in contrast with the otherwise reticent execution.
Singer and her ex-husband purchased the apartment for $1.42 million in 1998. A not-bad return on a 20-year investment.
