Reality TV star Thomas Ravenel recently listed his South Carolina home for $3.95 million. The former “Southern Charm” personality purchased the 60-acre historic estate in 2006, shortly after the home had seen a comprehensive restoration.

Spanning 4,284 square feet, the classic Greek Revival-style residence was built in 1803 and is known as Brookland Plantation. The property is on Sea Island, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places; before the Civil War, it served as a cotton farm.

Today, the four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home maintains classic features with a blend of modern amenities. The interior layout features a series formal living spaces that are voiced individually, and accented with detailed trim. A fireplace anchors the common area. The charming, cottage style kitchen—which also features an original fireplace—boasts recently updated cabinetry, an eat-in island, and granite countertops.

An 8-acre polo field, a pond, and a two-story barn with 10 stalls help fill out the extensive acreage.
