Bentley‘s Mulliner division has a well-deserved reputation for designing spectacular limited-edition vehicles. The division’s latest trophy car is the Continental GT Convertible Number 1 Edition. Production will be very limited.

This particular Continental represents the third in three special centenary editions honoring 100 years of automotive excellence. This final commemorative build takes design inspiration from the iconic 1929 Bentley Blower Number 1 race car. That Bentley competed at Brooklands with an average speed of 137 mph, an astonishing speed for the era.

Preceded by the Mulsanne W.O. Edition and the Continental GT Number 9 Edition, this GT boasts a special addition taken directly from the original 1929 car: the dashboard boasts a small wheel spinner cast from the original Number 1’s piston.

The Number 1 model comes in Dragon Red II or Beluga paint, and it further distinguishes itself from the crowd with the distinctive number 1 painted on the front grille. The vehicle also features the Centenary Specification pack, a Carbon Body Kit, 18-carat gold badging, and more.
