As automakers continue to unveil their 2020 designs, Lexus‘ GX 460 stands out with a sleek look and plenty of technical upgrades.
The automaker’s GX maintains its long-running reign of popularity, but has been revised as a slightly more compact luxury SUV for its class. The upcoming 2020 model doesn’t include any dramatic changes to the design language, but Lexus fans will notice a streamlining of the exterior body lines. And this GX boasts a slightly softened, more contemporary grille that flows to angular new headlights.
As far as power is concerned, drivers will recognize the inclusion of the same 4.6-liter V8 producing 301 horsepower and 329 pound-feet of torque. All that power pairs well with the vehicle’s new Off-Road Package and Crawl Control system. In the cabin, a new trim option in bold red leather is sure to set the vehicle apart from similar SUV styles.
Technical updates abound with the addition of cameras that lend to multi-view and panoramic monitors for increased safety and vehicle control. Lexus also made its Safety System+ suite standard for the updated SUV, including lane departure alert, high-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and more.
