Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz recently listed his Mediterranean-style ranch in Encino for $2.395 million.

The 1950s-era home has undergone a comprehensive remodel since its original construction and holds five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The exterior architecture features an extravagant winged design.

The home’s living style is substantial, and errs on the side of timeless. Spanning 4,091 square feet and set on half of an acre, the house stands out with updated shared living spaces, including the living room, which looks tastefully stylish by way of exposed ceiling beams and tiled fireplace.

The open concept living space flows seamlessly to the chef’s kitchen. Clad with custom dark cabinetry, the kitchen boasts plenty of counter space, a center island, and stainless steel appliances. Accents include arched doorways and windows, and distressed dark hardwood floors.

Outside, the resort-style backyard impresses with plenty of patio space, gardens, a basketball court, and a saltwater swimming pool with spa.

Before Wentz picked up the property about five years ago, it belonged to R&B singer-songwriter Eric Benet.
