Kenneth Cobonpue and Disney are taking a more intense approach in their own riff on the mythos, though. They want to bring the far, far away right into your living room.

The force is strong in this collaborative effort. And furniture designer Cobonpue is the style Jedi. His high-end, artistic touch imbues the collection of lamps, footstools, and armchairs. Entries in the collection include a Wookie-inspired wooly stool. Those with an affinity for the dark side will likely be drawn to the contemporary armchair inspired by Darth Vader’s mask, and the Darth Sidious-inspired hooded armchair.

One of the stand-out designs from the collection is the geometric Imperial Wings Armchair. Uniquely, the design manages to capture the distinct look of a TIE fighter while also maintaining a sleek, modern style.

Cobonpue’s creative touch results in a modern look that rejects the kitschy styling usually associated with movie franchise designs. Customers will be able to show off their passion for the fantasy series while still maintaining a stylish home aesthetic.
