Brad Falchuk, Co-Creator of ‘Glee’ and ‘American Horror Story,’ Lists Brentwood Charmer for $10M

Prolific TV writer/producer/director Brad Falchuk recently listed his Brentwood mansion for $10 million.

Falchuk—who is best known for co-creating hits like “Glee” and “American Horror Story”—happens to be married to fellow celeb Gwyneth Paltrow. Interestingly, Paltrow recently revealed that she and Falchuk purposely live together part-time, but it’s unclear if this listing suggests a shift from their norm.

Regardless of the former living situation within, the Los Angeles-area home is a solid charmer, with four bedrooms and five baths. Tucked behind a row of tall privacy hedges, the Traditional-style one story has seen a comprehensive update at the capable hands of Windsor Smith.

The lush lawn and grand, covered front porch transition neatly to a cohesive urbane rustic interior that’s finished in neutral tones, with comfort, familiarity and just enough cozy to relax the watchwords. Fireplaces, built-ins, tongue-and-groove, and period lighting give the living style an individuality; the plank bookshelves positioned high on the walls of the salon are a nice touch.

The family room is another standout. Complete with three sets of French doors, the light-filled space flows easily to the gourmet kitchen outfitted with white subway tiles, stainless steel appliances, and an eat-in island. And, a stylish recessed coffee bar, just the thing for quick mornings.

Outside, covered patios, a sports court, and a swimming pool with a spa occupy the backyard. Landscaping is superb, and the pleasing variety of flora gives the property a secluded, almost Hamptons-like feel.
