NBA star-turned-coach Doc Rivers is hoping for a slam dunk with the sale of his Hollywood Hills home; he’s priced the place at $11.9 million.
The Los Angeles Clippers head coach purchased the luxurious Hamptons-style residence back in 2014 for $8.2 million. It’s located in the highly sought-after and celebrity-filled Birds Streets neighborhood, and spans 3,950 square feet.
The contemporary traditional features a bright and airy great room-style living space with a pitched ceiling. The family room is especially impressive, boasting a central fireplace, and several sets of French doors that open to the outdoor living area.
The home’s gourmet kitchen features white cabinetry, a large center island, and a custom banquette for casual meals. The three bedrooms and 3.5 baths culminate in a master suite with an office, two closets, and a massive spa-like bathroom.
The property exterior is lovely. An outdoor kitchen and bar, several lounge spaces, a swimming pool with a spa, and a charming, detached guesthouse make for an idyllic high-end SoCal living style. And, from nearly every spot outside, onlookers can enjoy sprawling views of L.A. and the Pacific Ocean.
Rivers has been with the Clippers since 2013. Before his West Coast tenure, he spent nearly a decade coaching the Celtics.
