Everyone’s first MySpace friend Tom Anderson recently spent $3.8 million on an L.A.-area home.
Concrete and hardwood accents carry throughout the 4,758 square footer. It’s a recent build–it dates to 2016–and features an open-concept main living space.
The four-bedroom home’s great room-style main floor flows seamlessly from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room. A white-and-gray scheme is carried through to the modern gourmet kitchen with its custom cabinetry, large center island, and pendant fixtures. A floating staircase with a solid glass balustrade, strident lines, and grid lighting all contribute atmosphere to the moody, austere interiors.
The central living space boasts oversize windows, a fireplace, and two large walls of retractable glass walls that open to the backyard. An indoor-outdoor living space leads to a manicured backyard with a patio, a swimming pool with a spa, and a dramatic waterfall feature for meditative outdoor relaxation and creative sessions.
Myspace co-founder Anderson purchased the West Hollywood residence from Chainsmokers DJ Drew Taggart.
Anderson co-founded MySpace in 2003. News Corp acquired the social network in 2005 for $580 million.
