Teddi Mellencamp of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame recently listed her Los Angeles home for $3.2 million.
Mellencamp and her husband Edwin Arroyave recently upgraded to an even more luxurious residence that Arroyave had been eyeing for quite some time. But, the reality TV star’s Olympus Cove residence in the Hollywood Hills will be recognizable to fans of the show.
The late-1970s home’s exterior architecture is late modern. The interior decor, on the other hand, is restlessly and engagingly postmodern. In the open-concept living area, for example, aquamarine subway tile is juxtaposed over intensely patterned wall covering. And one of the four bedrooms sports dramatic black longitudinal stripes on a white background; phew! There’s a little Zen-ish garden with a water feature on the property, though, in case you need to get your bearings.
The house spans 2,918 square feet, with three baths, and plenty of entertaining space inside and out. The kitchen flows seamlessly to the family room, which features a fireplace and a wet bar, and opens via sliding glass onto a covered outdoor dining area.
Outside is a tranquil backyard complete with its koi pond and gardens. The outdoor kitchen, spacious decks, and swimming pool with spa are framed by impressive views of L.A. and Hollywood.
