Swiss watchmaker Hublot and Ferrari‘s newest wristwear is a celebration of Ferrari’s birthday. Hublot has called the series the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary.

Hublot and Ferrari’s relationship has been ongoing since 2011. The LaFerrari watches produced by the legendary Swiss company were strikingly realized statements that balanced racetrack and classic styling beautifully.

The Hublot Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary watch is a love letter of sorts to Ferrari’s racing division, so this latest Hublot-Ferrari meeting of the minds finds inspiration in Ferrari builds of past and present.

First up is the design created with iconic Ferrari race cars in mind. Customers will likely be drawn to the watch’s platinum case and yellow hands that mimic the look of classic Ferrari instruments. The perforated leather strap was inspired by classic Ferrari’s bucket seats.

Customers can opt for a more modern design of the Big Bang, crafted from 3D carbon and paired with a Nomex strap. Nomex is typically used in racing driver’s suits, and is fire resistant. But the driving aficionados out there will recognize the brand name, and be familiar with the material’s properties.

The third Big Bang design stands out from the rest with a transparent sapphire crystal case and a Kevlar-inspired strap. It’s the more daring, forward-looking design, and it’s clear that this piece represents the future of innovation ahead for Scuderia Ferrari.

All three wristwatches are equipped with a UNICO movement, and a flyback chronograph packing 72 hours of power reserve. Pricing begins at $34,600 for the 3D carbon Big Bang.
