NASCAR icon Kurt Busch is hoping to speed away with $7.626 million when his North Carolina property sells.
The 2017 Daytona 500 champion paid $635,000 for 138 acres of undeveloped land in Mooresville about 15 years ago. It may prove to be a judicious move; Busch is set to make quite a return on his investment. The pastoral property is located about a half hour’s drive from Charlotte, and features large swathes of grass and forest.
It’s unclear why Busch didn’t develop this unique property. Busch also owns a luxurious 9,500-square-foot Lake Normal mansion, which was put on the market just last year for $3.95 million.
