With one of her two estates in the Hamptons in the rearview as of last month—the property fetched $18 million—Christie Brinkley isn’t moving into the other for the hot season, at least not right now. Instead, the former supermodel and actress is planning on keeping a Manhattan rental as a residence; this week, she moved out of a penthouse in Tribeca’s glassy Zinc building, and into a West Village condo with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths that’s located a few blocks Northeast.

The unit is part of Greenwich Lane, a 2013-built upscale complex that does a nice job of fitting in with the historical context of the neighborhood, and enhancing it. There are several buildings in Greenwich Lane.

At a whisker under 2,400 square feet, the condo is spacious but of manageable size. Classic design elements and luxe materials are the rule inside the home, with marble, tile, dark hardwood, and abundant glass giving the residence an understated feel.

The shared living spaces culminated in a large great room, a combined living and dining space that allows for a fine sense of expanse. The impression is augmented by two sets of glass doors that open onto a terrace.

All three bedrooms are en-suite; the master gets a very large marble bath with a soaking tub. Amenities in the complex are superb, with a fitness/wellness center, a golf simulator, and a screening room among them.
