Charlie Sheen’s former home base in Beverly Hills first hit the market in the late winter of last year with an ask of $10 million. Sheen appears to be motivated, as a steady whittling has gradually cropped a couple of million off the price tag in the months since it was initially offered. He paid $7.2 million for the home back in 2006.
Perhaps this latest snip to $7.999 million will do the trick. The home does have a lot going for it; it is located at the top of the Beverly/Bel-Air section of Los Angeles, and boasts a large lot, an appealing if slightly overblown exterior style, and interiors that are warm and inviting.
Creature comforts are the rule of thumb inside the home, and outside, too. Within, a Creston home theater, a walk-in humidor, a games/entertainment room with a wet bar, and a massive master suite that features a private screening room, a wet bar, and a large living space define the home quite well. Warm wood, fireplaces, ornamental columns and beige stone contribute to the lush, relaxed living style of the 8,628 square-footer. A kid’s room with a planetarium-inspired ceiling is a nice touch.
Outdoors, a main pool, a lap pool, a wet bar and a summer kitchen take center stage along a pavilion that is designed for parties.
Charlie Sheen was the highest paid actor on television in 2010. He pulled down $1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men.
