CNN TV journalist Chris Cuomo has breaking news: he’s selling his beautiful Hamptons home for $2.9 million.
Cuomo—the brother of New York governor Andrew Cuomo— and his wife paid $1.3 million for the Southampton, New York, residence back in 2005. The traditional residence features a classic weathered shingle exterior, a covered porch, and a sunroom.
The interiors span 3,000 square feet, with five bedrooms, four baths and a series of charming details in its two floors of living space. After entering beneath the large covered porch, potential buyers will be led to the living room complete with a vintage carved stone fireplace. Further inside, the kitchen continues the light and airy aesthetic with white cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an eat-in peninsula.
But the most unique space is likely the spacious sunroom that can serve as a dining space, a lounge area, and a family room. Certainly more casual than a formal dining room, the glassy extension of the living area is the heart of the home.
Outside, the idyllic landscaping, pristine grounds, vegetable gardens, and large swimming pool all contribute to this classic example of the Hamptons lifestyle.
