Rock musician Peter Buck recently sold his Seattle condo for $1.25 million.

The R.E.M. guitarist’s high-rise digs sold for about $225,000 less than his original ask, but he still made a small profit on the sale.

The unit is located on the 20th floor of the waterfront Cristalla building, a short hike from Pike Place Market. It’s a 1,387-square-foot unit with two bedrooms and two baths.

Most appealing are the floor-to-ceiling glass panels, which offer 180-degree views of the Seattle waterfront. Thanks to the expansive windows, the combination living and dining space is flooded with natural light.

The kitchen gets a fair amount of the available space in the shared living area, and stands out with wood accents, stainless steel appliances, and a large center island. From the main living space, new residents can easily access the compact balcony facing the water.
