Ross Mathews of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” fame has put his Palm Springs home on the market for $619,000.
In the world of celebrity real estate, this is quite the steal. The TV personality known for his role as “Ross the Intern” paid $570,000 for the Southern California property in 2016, and he’s since put quite a bit of work into updating the property to his midcentury tastes.
The trendy, 2011-built, two-bedroom residence features a concrete exterior and a charming entryway. Within, it extends to 1,818 square feet, and features an open-concept design. It uses its space well, with high ceilings and plenty of large windows giving it a relaxed feel. Mid-century inspired accents distinguish the home from other properties in the area, presenting the living style as both literate and playful.
The gourmet kitchen complete with Merillat cabinetry, quartz countertops, a large center island, and top-of-the-line appliances; the warmth of the space offers pleasing contrast to the polished concrete floors. The kitchen also incorporates a small creative space.
The living spaces are bright, and the home has excellent floor. Both bedrooms are master suites; they feature private terraces accessible via sliding glass.
The home’s exterior living spaces have also been updated during Mathew’s ownership. A resurfaced swimming pool and drought-resistant landscaping top the list of outdoor renovations.
Aside from reporting for Leno, Mathews has appeared on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Celebrity Big Brother”.
