With BMW‘s 2020 X3 and X4 M crossover variants en route, the German automaker recently announced pricing information for the upcoming vehicles.
Interested customers on a more restricted budget can expect to spend at least $70,896 for the X3 M. The sportier X4 M model starts at $74,395.
Drivers interested in BMW’s Competition models will be impressed to find the powerful new S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine under the hood, which should toss a bit more thrill into the daily commute. The X3 M and X4 M vehicles boasting a Competition badge will produce 503 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, and drivers will enjoy a zero-to-60 mph sprint of just 4.0 seconds. Speed is electronically topped off at 177 mph with the addition of the M Driver’s Package.
The Competition model X3 and X4 receive BMW’s revised S58 twin-turbo engine, and an 8-speed ZF gearbox converts the goods. For buyers looking for a sports crossover, these two performance rides may be the most appealing options at their price point for the upcoming model year.
