Actor Lamorne Morris recently paid $3.11 million for this newly constructed Spanish contemporary in the Los Angeles area.
The “New Girl” and “Valley of the Boom” star’s new pad boasts exterior Spanish design cues, but is thoroughly contemporary within. It was built last year.
The 5,840-square-foot manse has five bedrooms plus 7.5 bathrooms and was designed with entertaining in mind. Morris was likely drawn to the home’s soaring ceilings, abundant glass, and open-concept living style: the central living space is a combination family room and kitchen accented with beautiful wide-plank hardwood and a retractable wall of glass panels.
The kitchen stands out with bright white cabinetry, white marble countertops, and a contrasting dark backsplash. Friends and family can grab a bite at the large central island or enjoy a casual meal at the breakfast nook. Of course, there’s also the formal dining room with its built-in wine storage.
Just outside, the backyard is immaculately landscaped and accented with a large covered patio, a bar, a swimming pool with a spa, and a pool house.
Morris’ upcoming features include a musical comedy from Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis; the film is due in theaters later this year.
