Rapper Wiz Khalifa recently purchased a luxurious new Los Angeles-area contemporary home. The superstar lyricist picked up the ultra-modern Encino pad for $3.4 million.

Set on a little over a quarter of an acre, the 5,832-square-foot residence is a new construction build with all the bells and whistles of a modern entertainment-friendly space.

The five-bed seven-bath house begins with a minimalist double-height foyer shows off a floating staircase and a statement-making modern light fixture. Further inside, the large open-concept main living space incorporates a living room, a formal dining room, and a beautiful kitchen. The living room is accented with 24-foot-tall ceilings, European white oak floors, built-in shelving, a fireplace, and an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling pocketing glass doors.

Additional amenities like a 100-bottle wine bar and a home movie theater enhance the entertainment potential inside; outside, recreational opportunities come by way of an open-air lounge space off the second floor, and a small grounds that features an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and spa, and cabana.

Khalifa’s most recent studio effort is ‘Rolling Papers II’; the record was released last summer, and debuted at #2 on Billboard’s 200.
