NBA star Jusuf Nurkic recently picked up a luxurious Portland traditional-style sprawler for $3.1 million.

The Portland Trailblazers center’s new West Linn, Oregon home was built in 2010 and spans about 10,000 square feet. The expansive five-bedroom home features an open-concept floorplan and a host of high-end accents.

Upon entering the stylish home, visitors will be drawn to the main living space with its built-in shelving, wall of windows, open flow to the kitchen, and a pair of fireplaces. Nurkic is nearly 7 feet tall, so he was probably drawn to the house’s soaring ceilings, some of which are accented with wood beams. Judicious use of soft cool tones in the shared living areas contrast with the warm-toned wood for a nicely balanced feel that is very comfortable.

The kitchen and dining room area receives an additional fireplace, as well as a wall boasting three sets of French doors opening onto the outdoor recreation area. The gourmet kitchen features a combination of white cabinetry, white countertops, and high-end appliances.

Nurkic should be able to keep in shape thanks to the addition of a yoga studio and a gym, and he’ll be able to unwind in the dedicated media room. Outside, the opportunities for fun continue with a covered seating area with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bar, a fire pit, and a giant swimming pool with a spa.

Nurkic transitioned to the Trailblazers after a three-year stint with the Nuggets. He resigned in Portland in July of last year.
