TV producer Joshua Donen recently purchased a Los Angeles-area home for $1.85 million.
Donen—who produced hits “House of Cards” and “Gone Girl”—recently sold his Midcentury Modern Malibu digs, opting to relocate to this cozy Los Feliz contemporary. Spanning 2,180 square feet, the three-bedroom modern home is fairly slick, but keeps the living style comfortable with a great deal of warm wood, tile, and a compartmental layout.
The home’s double doors open onto a bright white double-height main living space with matte-finished hardwood, floating staircase, and minimalist fireplace. On the other side of the staircase is the family room that flows into the bright white gourmet kitchen; the room is defined by a herringbone counter backsplash, dark countertops, and stainless.
The master suite is located upstairs and is sure to offer sanctuary with its spa-style bathroom and access to a spacious balcony which surveys the neighborhood. The property exterior fits terraced gardens, an outdoor kitchen, and a swimming pool with spa and small sunlounge into its small-sized lot.
Donen is an executive producer on Netflix’s upcoming ‘Love, Death & Robots’; the animated fantasy/sci-fi series is being co-developed by David Fincher and Tim Miller.
