British automaker Brabham Automotive is now offering drivers the ability to convert their track BT62 into a road-legal supercar.

At $191,000, the kit isn’t cheap. But it will give owners the option to take their BT62 to public streets, opening up weekend thrill rides to purely recreational possibilities. And the conversion package comes with a few upgrades, too.

How does an air conditioning system sound to start? And upgraded upholstery that’s a bit more creature-comforting than the utilitarian track version.

Comfort, yes, but also security: door locks and immobilizers. And a few street-car necessities as well: the BT62 also receives a rear axle lift kit, raised ground clearance, and a beefed up steering lock range to enhance road-oriented driving.

The BT62’s powerhouse remains the same: a 5.4-liter V8 monster that can produce up to 700 hp and 492 lb-ft of torque.

The price of a track-only Brabham BT62 is $1.145 million, making the street-legal version a $1.34 million car.
