After a protracted sales effort, the price of Biel/Timberlake’s Soho Mews penthouse settled at $6.35 million last October, rather a departure from the units initial ask of $8 million set in March.
The final reduction was the charm, though, and the couple finally saw the residence become the home of a new buyer. When the dust settled, the agreed-upon sales figure was not an offer, it was that final asking price; a good thing, since Timberlake’s purchase price in 2010 was $6.5 million.
Small favors, but, with that out of their hair, the couple can at least relax a bit more than they had been able to in their spot at 433 Greenwich, the privacy-oriented green-ish luxury high-rise so earnestly desired by those of the celebrity persuasion. The couple bought into the building early in 2017, dropping $20 million for a 5,400 square-foot apartment.
The outgoing pied-a-terre of the couple is about half that size, with 2,600 square-feet of interior living space and over 800 of exterior. The exterior space is a little heavy on the concrete, but the interiors are glassy and quite warm, with natural-toned plank flooring and maple accents. The master suite is dominated by views, and also by the master bath; it’s a full-on marble sanctuary.
‘Man of the Woods’ Justin Timberlake is currently on tour with his ax…and a healed-up set of pipes that had needed a rest after the strains of the road. Jessica Biel stars in the second season of Limetown, which concluded last month.
