More details about the highly anticipated 2020 Range Rover Evoque have been released, including information about the model’s luxe new upholstery options.

The Evoque has been a hit with well-heeled 20- and 30-somethings. The smallest of the Range Rover fleet manages to carve out its own SUV identity, looking neither as obnoxiously assertive or as energy-conspicuous as the classic suburban beast. And though supple leather upholstery has been the upscale auto cabin standard for decades, changes to accommodate millennial sensibilities regarding materials are emerging. So Land Rover is offering a few more high-end options that will appeal to the eco-conscious young buyer.

Designed with ethical consumership in mind, the new line includes a number of premium non-leather options that sustain the luxury feel and spendy cachet of fine, vegetable-tanned leather. The vegan material options also include a new wool-polyester blend developed in collaboration with Kvadrat. The Danish textile brand has secured a reputation for high-end textiles that present a thoughtful design profile. For example, Evoque customers can select a soft wool that’s great for temperature control. Also available is the Eucalyptus Melange material crafted from a blend of polyester and eucalyptus bark fibers.

Of course, traditional leather is still available. It isn’t expected to go out of style anytime soon.
