Ferox’s newest ATV design proves that durability, style, and innovation can all inform each other. Their Azaris manages to combine all three into an extremely capable off-roader with a form that excites the imagination.
The six-wheeled build is beautifully designed and looks as if it zoomed in from the not-so-near future. The uniquely aggressive ATV takes styling cues from popular high-end supercars, and sports an angularity borrowed from the exotic side of the spectrum.
A unique rocker suspension setup inspired by the Mars Rover gives the Azaris a smoother ride; reduced up-and-down movements make for stability on the go. Ferox also developed a special pump unit powered by a BMW R1200GS to create a fluid drive system. As a result, the motor and pump perform at 98-percent efficiency. Equipped with four hydraulic motors, Azaris is capable of producing—in theory—a total of 680Nm of torque.
Ferox’s new build is a prototype, and may be altered prior to production. Still, it shows off the company’s knack for innovation. More specs on the vehicle are to come, along with availability info.
