Leeza Gibbons Pays $1.9M for Updated West Hollywood Cottage With Guesthouse

Entertainment news journalist Leeza Gibbons recently picked up a West Hollywood home for $1.94 million.

The residence recently underwent comprehensive renovations. Outside, the renovations enhance the exterior of the classic L.A.-area Spanish eclectic. The house was built in the mid-1920s, and presents itself as characteristically homey: a tiled front step, whitewashed stucco, and a clay tile roof. The front door and trim are flat periwinkle blue, balancing out the warmth and giving the home a tastefully careful execution.

The renovations left the interiors fairly contemporary, which opened up the living spaces. An open-concept floor plan leaves the 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bath home looking larger than it actually is. The quaint living room opens up to a dining space and a well-appointed kitchen with a peninsula and tan cabinetry.

Gibbons was likely drawn to the home’s new contemporary-style matte-finished hardwood floors, fully updated spa-style bathrooms, and the new security system.

Outside, there is a small courtyard to complete the classic Spanish design. Interestingly, the property packs in a 650-square-foot contemporary guesthouse. The little self-contained pad features a spacious studio floorplan, generous ceilings, and poured concrete floors.
